Stylish iPad Bluetooth Speakers

Bluetooth speakers are a dime a dozen. It’s also pretty boring tech. So why are we covering it? Well, these particular speakers from Rocketfish feature a nice triangular design that makes it possible to insert them right into your iPad’s rolled up smart cover.

It’s neat because that’s how you’d have it if you were watching a film, presumably, so the speakers integrate pretty seamlessly with your Apple tablet. Connection is of course through Bluetooth, which means they will work with other devices but not quite so elegantly. [Via]

Secret Service: Self-Destruct USB Stick

This USB Stick comes with a built-in GPS chip that allows a GPS satellite to track it. Just how does the USB stick remain powered though? Well, each time it is plugged in via USB, the internal battery will recharge, letting you track it to the nearest cell tower thanks to the integrated mobile SIM card within.

Not only that, you can also block access to the USB stick’s contents remotely through an online console, or to send it a coded text message.

Assuming all else fails, the modern day L-Pill in the digital format would see it self-destruct as a high voltage charge is sent into its core, ensuring that the chip melts to render all information within useless. [Via]

Zeiss Head-Mounted OLED Display

Zeiss must be doing well in the lens business, as it hasn't exactly been in a rush to get its Cinemizer OLED on to shelves.

It doesn't look to be the version with head tracking that we tried earlier this year, but you'll still get a 3D image through HDMI 1.4 in addition to 2D through either the HDMI link or analog input. [Via

All In One ToolKit: The iPhone ReadyCase

The Readycase doesn’t look like your average, run-of-the-mill case. Although it is primarily a 3mm thin protection for your mobile, it also doubles as a multipurpose tool. It’s loaded with a bunch of things that could actually be useful now and then.

For instance, it has headphone clip, a magnetic quick-snap ring for interchangeable camera lenses, a 8GB/16GB USB drive which doubles as a Multi-orientation, adjustable kick-stand, a Multi-tool with a bottle opener, serrated blade, and screwdriver.

Right now it’s a fully-funded project on IndieGoGo and $40 will get you started. At that price you get both an iPhone 4S and 5 body, as well as a 8GB flash drive. [ Via ]

Konnet xbox 360 Power Pyramid Review

The Power Pyramid gives you a place to not only store a pair of Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers, but it also keeps them charged. If you have more than two of each, it might not be the best solution for you.

The Power Pyramid is a very simple device. In the box you’ll only find the Pyramid itself and a power cord.  Plug in the power cord, and you’re done with the setup. It has four docks, which accommodate two different types of controllers.

The top pair is designated for PS3, and the bottom two are for your Xbox 360 controllers. Because the two use very different connectors, the docks cannot be used interchangeably.

When you dock a controller, you’ll see an LED light up to inform you that it is connected. Red means charging, while blue means it is finished. [Via]

Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display

Apple introduced a thinner 13-inch MacBook Pro that dazzles the eye. The omission did result in the thinness of the drive. On its side one can find new ports of quicker transmission and communication, including two Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 ports.

The Retina Display however hogs the entire spotlight with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. It also handles resolutions of the previous 15-inch version. The new MacBook Pro totally lives up to the expectations of digital artists and the likes with processing powers unrivaled. [Via]

LG Develops 55-inch OLED TV Panel

LG Display has just announced that it has successfully developed a 55″ OLED panel for HD televisions. At the moment, producing large OLED displays is an ongoing challenge, just like it was the case for LCD displays years ago.
